Goal(s)

To be introduced to the themes: reliability, risk, decision support,
Uncertainties in geotechnical engineering, probabilistic modelling of uncertain parameters, levels of dimensioning methods: deterministic, (semi-) probabilistic (Eurocodes), reliability calculation applied to geotechnical problems
Acquire general and specialized knowledge on a type of work (in terms of risk and reliability)
