Content(s)
This course is intended to familiarize the students with the industrial sensors. It carries out, in addition to the traditional presentation, a synthesis of the former lesson
automatically, Electronic, signal processing and general Physics, applied to the modern sensors.
The design office, with analyses of case, is intended to initiate the students with the information retrieval, the definition of and the card schedule of conditions of specifications.
This teaching is really illustrated by a whole of Work Practise where the students :
• implement methods of characterization and calibration,
• discover the usual graphical programmation tools as Agilent Vee or Labview.
Overview :
• Aim of the sensors in the instrumentation structure,
• Terminology (sensors passive and active, test, actuating quantities),
• Application of the theory of the linear linked systems to the study of sensors: functional diagrams, modelling, response to the signals tests, analyse and design,
• Electronic conditioning of the signals, analogical and numerical Instrumentation associated, insertion of the sensor instrumentation structure and in
the process,
• Physical environment of the sensors, protection of the electromagnetic interferences, various actuating quantities,
• Technology of the sensors, optical sensors, electromagnetic, piezoelectric...
• Temperatures and mechanical magnitudes Measurements,
• Metrological characteristics.
