Causes and Consequences of the Climate Emergency: 2 hours
This module introduces the scientific and societal foundations of climate change: the origin and impacts of greenhouse gas emissions, limits to growth, risks of exceeding planetary thresholds, threats to biodiversity, energy constraints, and the challenges of the transition. It highlights why our societies must change and presents the main directions of public policies (National Low-Carbon Strategy, energy scenarios).
