-Initiation to elementary techniques allowing to apprehend some parameters of ambiances and conditions of work.
-Study of practical cases: study of workstations, methods of analysis and quantification of nuisances, technical solutions for measurements, applied regulations, prevention and protection devices, etc.
Content(s)
Practical lessons on educational models
1. Psychrometry : Indirect approach of thermal balance, definition and measurement of thermal quantities, evaluation of a thermal environment, WBGT index
2. Lighting (1st part): luminous and energetic light, luminance, contrast, study of a workstation, spectral study, chromatic printing, choice between different sources of lighting, study on monitor
3. Physical workload: measurement of physiological quantities, evaluation of energy expenditure, methods centered on the work phase and the rest phase
4. Reflex studies: influence of working conditions (noise, light, ...)
5. Ventilation - basic approach: pressure and flow velocity measurements, pressure drop, efficiency, prevention devices
6. Determination of Hydrocarbon Vapor Levels in the Workplace Atmosphere: Instantaneous Punctual Assay and Continuous Punctual Assay
