Goal(s)
The approach adopted and desired in this subject is based on the 3 years of the IESE programme, which are project-oriented. The gradual progression enables each student to assert himself in his future work as an engineer by confronting his difficulties, but also to refine his career choices.
These projects are carried out in collaboration with the TIS and RICM programmes.
The objectives are both to increase skills in technical aspects and in project management.
Content(s)
Projects are carried out in pairs or trios, depending on the difficulty of the project throughout the year. The slot allows for relations with the RICMs and the 3I5s for ambitious projects. The supervision of project leaders/teachers does not correspond to the usual supervision of practical work, but to regular monitoring with milestones; the aim here is to assign students to carry out and/or study an original idea. The students are entirely responsible for the research, technical realisation and presentation.
Some groups of students carry out their project as part of the robotics cup.
Year 4 projects continue the embedded systems projects of year 3, however, year 4 projects are no longer recurring projects but different each year depending on the proposals made by the teaching team. Thus, many Year 3 and Year 4 skills are often required to carry out these projects.
