Goal(s)

The approach adopted and desired in this subject is based on the 3 years of the IESE programme, which are project-oriented. The gradual progression enables each student to assert himself in his future work as an engineer by confronting his difficulties, but also to refine his career choices.
The objectives are to develop skills in both technical aspects and project management.

Content(s)

Projects are carried out in pairs or trios, depending on the difficulty of the project throughout the year. The slot allows for relations with the RICMs and the 3I5s for ambitious projects. The supervision of project leaders/teachers does not correspond to the usual supervision of practical work, but to regular monitoring with milestones; the aim here is to assign students to carry out and/or study an original idea. The students are entirely responsible for the research, technical realisation and presentation.
Some groups of students carry out their project as part of the robotics cup.

Prerequisites

Year 4 projects are a continuation of the embedded systems projects in Year 3. However, Year 4 projects are not recurrent projects but are different each year. Many skills from year 3 and year 4 are often required to complete these projects.
