4 practical applications will be carried out:
- Magnetostatics:
Magnetic field map generated by a magnet and a current-carrying coil, magnetic braking by eddy currents
- Electromagnetism:
Magnetic induction in a coil, measuring the magnetization of a magnet by magnetic induction, electromagnetic braking force
- Heat transfer (2 practical exercises):
Measurement of heat conduction in materials, Peltier/Seebeck effect, visual observation of convection currents using the synthetic Schlieren effect, characteristics of a photovoltaic solar panel
