to know how to design geotechnical works made of improved or reinforced soils : nailed walls, reinforced earth walls, soft ground improved by vertical rigid inclusions, stone columns... using analytical or numerical methods

  • lectures detailing some of the techniques of soil improvement and case studies
  • tutorials and application projects : analytical and numerical methods for the design of geotechnical structures made of improved or reinforced soil (analytical design methods and use of design softwares as Talren, Foxta and Plaxis)
