Goal(s)
The objective is to design and dimension several geotechnical structures located on the same site in a seismic area: a retaining structure, foundations on shallow or deep footings, soil reinforcement and treatment against liquefaction.
For the technical aspects, the different phases are the collection of information from a real soil study (the Eurocode 8 classification of the site, category of importance of the structures, etc.), the stability of a slope with consideration of the seismic parameters and the effects of the topography, the concrete study of the susceptibility to liquefaction, the discussion on the possible choices of the modes of foundations with a technical/cost/benefit approach. The selected solutions will be designed.
In addition, the dynamic properties of these structures will be analyzed by performing ambient noise measurements
