Goal(s)

To illustrate, using a very simple theoretical example, the practical work that can be done in the iese, tis and info streams at polytech Grenoble. The aim of this short tutorial is to understand the principle of creating a 3D image using a very simple display device based on anaglyphs. We are interested in two particular points:

• how to modify the 3D perception of an object in front of or behind the screen
• how to evaluate the relative position of different objects in the image in depth in the scene using stereovision.

Under Python, discovery of the numpy and scikit-image libraries. The python files are given and only a few code modifications are required.
