Goal(s)
The aim of this course is to deepen certain industrial technologies for material shaping and/or material modification.
This module is therefore mainly provided by stakeholders from the industrial world
Content(s)
Five processes are particularly illustrated in this course:
- Welding and brazing technologies by an industrial partner from General Electric (David Ruynat). A 4-hour welding session is then proposed by a teacher from the Pablo Neruda High School (Florent Rocher).
- The additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing) are presented by an Associate Professor from Polytech (Guilhem Martin)
- Surface treatment technologies, by an industrial partner lec from the company NEXTER-GROUPE (Clément Duchasseint)
Objective: To present an overview of the main surface treatments used in the traditional industrial world (Presentation of more than 30 TRS). (The objective is to know the principles of each TRS)
o General (importance and purpose of the SRT)
o Wet and dry coatings
o Conversion Processing (Electrolytic and Chemical)
o Structural Transformation Treatment (mechanical and Thermal)
o Thermochemical treatment
o Use of SRTs
o Conclusions (choice of a TRS)
- MIM and Thixoforming technologies by an industrial partner from ROLEX (Bruno Lisiecki)
- Enduction (PVC, acrylic) of textiles is presented by Annabelle Aubertin (Saint Clair Textiles)
Physico-chemistry of materials
Plasma physics
Polymers
