Goal(s)

Mathematics are basic tools for the understanding of other ingeneer fields : differential calculus, matrix calculus, Fourier analysis.

Content(s)

1. LINEAR ALGEBRA :
Basic operations on a rectangular matrix,
Gauss algorithm and applications,
The matrix of a linear transformation and the change-of-basis matrix,
Inversion of a matrix and calculus of a determinant,
matrix diagonalisation.

2. BILINEAR ALGEBRA :
Scalar product,
Orthogonal projection,
Gram Schmidt orthonormalisation.

3. DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS.

4.FOURIER ANALYSIS :

Fourier series,
Parseval theorem,
Dirichlet theorem.

Fourier transform,
Fourier transform inversion theorem,
Parseval theorem,
Fourier transform and convolution.
