Prerequisites

  • Have a strong understanding of Mechanics of Continuous Media and Strength of Materials courses.
  • Ability to solve an eigenvalue problem
  • Knowledge of change of basis formulas
  • Knowledge of classical trigonometry formulas
  • Knowledge of mathematical differential operators
  • Ability to use a word processing software (hierarchical document organization, insertion of captioned and referenced tables and figures, formula insertion, etc.)
  • Ability to explain the scientific approach and results from a figure and a table.
