1 Mechanics of solids
1.1 Stresses: stress vector; Stress tensor; Equation of motion; Main, spherical and deviatory constraints
1.2 Kinematics, deformation and motion (solid): Lagrangian and Eulerian description;
1.3 Behavior Law: Elastic, homogeneous and isotropic behavior; Stress / strain relationships; Thermo-elastic behavior law;
1.4 Elasticity problem solving
1.5 Mohr Circles
1.6 Elastic limit (yield strength), notions of plasticity

2 Mechanics of fluids
2.1 Introduction
2.2 Hydrostatic - Pascal's law, Archimedes' principle
2.3 Flow in pipe: perfect fluid, Bernoulli equation, loss of loads
2.4 Lagrangian and Eulerian descriptions; Material derivative; Behavior of a Newtonian fluid; Motion Equations (Navier-Stockes)
